These beautiful 100% cotton placemats are the perfect addition to your table. Teacher Rosario and her family delicately create each of these pieces with a backstrap loom, in the community of Santo Tomás Jalietza, Oaxaca.

The traditional “spike” design contains a high complexity for its implementation. It requires high concentration, long production times, and absolute mastery in the art of backstrap loom.
